• Outstanding report generator. End of sale, market reports, seller and buyer history, mailing lists can be generated with minimum effort. An outstanding management tool!!
• All invoicing is generated off the system at the time the livestock sell. Posting becomes a thing of the past, with no more waiting for "catching up" during the sale. Clerical errors (transpositions, mis-adds) are eliminated and payroll and payroll expense are reduced significantly.
• In states with central lien filing, STS provides lien data on the system. So when a name search is done at check-in, liens can be attached at that time.
• Consignor checks are ready before they walk downstairs after watching their livestock sell. Deductions-commissions, yardage, feed, brand inspection, health, etc.- can be completely automatic (or manually entered, if desired) and their account of sale is accurate and understandable. Form 1099s can be generated by the system, and in the case of the consignor who doesn’t keep good records, look-ups are a breeze-and fast at year end.
• Buyers appreciate being able to get a summary of their orders at any time during the sale (accurate and immediate) and they love being able to settle up fast after a long day. Commissions can be added to the invoice and printed through the system, "ship tos" can be automatic for specific accounts, and buyer changes / moves are as simple as typing "move" and identifying the old and new order number. Specific transactions within an order can be moved to other order numbers just as easily.
• Seller pro-rates (by head, by amount, by pen, etc.), seller splits, are all easily done and are accurate.
• Auction block clerking is fast and straightforward. STS has worked hard to make the block system fast and easy to work in-realizing that the momentum and rhythm of the sale is vitally important. Clerk functions available include:
  • Multiple transactions
  • Multi draft sums, weigh backs and weigh ahead
  • Consignor totals/countdown during sale transactions, special notes on consignments for both the block display and the office
  • Multiple sale rings running simultaneously
  • Pre-weighs, ring scales and after weighs, with the ability to service multiple load cell devices
  • Consolidation or splitting of block functions
• In states where the statement is used as a bill of sale, the computer actually draws the brands on the buyer’s invoice automatically.
• STS System provides fast custodial check reconciliation.
• System will interface and export the check register to Quickbooks accounting system.
• Multiple open databases - Sales can be left "open" for extended periods of time to facilitate corrections and changes as necessary.
